Thanks for taking time sharing your review, Rita!
Feel free to reach out if you need guidance on your Solemate tool and training program.
Only had SoleMate for a couple of weeks but it has already become a key part of my exercise routine. The tutorials are very good, well paced and informative.
Thank you, Dave!
It’s great to hear the tutorials have been helpful. We put a lot of care into making them easy to follow, well-paced, and practical, so you can build confidence with the training over time.
Thanks again for being part of TFC, and enjoy continuing to explore what the SoleMate can add to your routine.
At age 79 I have begun finding that there are occasions when my balance is not as good as I would like it to be. Having decided to address this issue I went ahead and ordered a Soulmate Kit. Something I had been considering for a while but now it was crunch time.
It is a beautifully engineered piece of equipment. Although I have not long been using it, I can already feel the difference in muscles around my ankles. At present I am getting used to finding my balance in the split stance. Once I fully have it down, and get more confident, I move on to the training programme.
The Soulmate is a worthwhile investment and you are never too old to learn, particularly when it’s health related. John
Thank you for sharing this, John. It's inspiring to see you approach this with such intention and patience, especially the way you're taking the time to properly master the split stance before moving into the full training programme. That kind of steady, deliberate progress is exactly how lasting results are built.
You're absolutely right that it's never too late to invest in your health and noticing those changes is a great sign of the progress to come. Wishing you continued success as you work through the programme, and thank you for being part of TFC community!
I’m really enjoying using the Sole Mate. I noticed that my big toe had very limited movement on its own, despite moving easily when I manipulated it with my hands. Exploring this led me to discover The Foot Collective, and I’m beginning to wonder whether some of my foot mechanics might help explain the hip and back pain I’ve experienced when running.
I’ve only been using the Sole Mate and doing the exercises for a few weeks, so it’s still early days, but I’m already noticing that I have much more ability to control and use my big toe, along with a general increase in foot strength.
I’m finding the Sole Mate very easy to use, and the hacky sack makes the exercises fun rather than feeling like a chore. It’s surprisingly easy to start with but becomes challenging quite quickly, which I really enjoy. I’m looking forward to continuing to work on my foot strength and control and seeing where it takes me.
Thank you for sharing this, Anita!
It’s great to hear that the exercises have helped you explore your big toe control and build more awareness of how your feet are moving. Noticing those changes over the first few weeks, along with a general increase in foot strength, is such a motivating part of the training process.
We also love hearing that the hacky sack has made the exercises feel fun rather than like a chore. That playful side of training is a big part of what we hope people experience - simple enough to start, but with plenty of challenge as you keep building control and strength.
Thanks again for sharing your experience. We’re excited for you to keep exploring your foot strength and control and seeing where the training takes you.
