The Solemate system is a well designed and comprehensive path to not only healthier feet, but also better function, balance, mobility and flexibility. I have seen a difference in all of these areas in just a few weeks. The videos are well done and the guidance is expert. They make it fun and rewarding to train regularly.

This is a great product. I've been working on my foot mobility and have been wearing barefoot shoes for a couple of years. This is a very fun program to use as a tool. The vidoes are great but are sometimes hard to see the foot positions because the mat, the solemate, the wall, and the feet are all the same color! The written descriptions are helpful too.

TFC SoleMate

I started using the foot sack a little over a week ago. Ive just been using it as a ball to press my foot into while standing. I’m a reflexologist and a structural reflexologist who recently learned to work the anatomy train, the line of fascia that runs from the bottoms of the feet, up the back of the legs, the sacrum and spine, shoulders, back of the neck, over the scalp and on to the eyebrows by standing on a ball with one foot, pressing in a pulse like action or leaning into the ball with the foot for sustained moments for a total of 90 seconds. Before you start, you stand and bend over to notice the sensations in the back side of your body, and how one hand may seem to reach farther than the other. I noticed that my left hand reached farther than less than my right and I had tension in the backs of my legs, hips and spine. I started with the left foot first, pulsing my foot unto the ball and found super tight, stiff sore areas in the arch, heel and ball of the foot. I pushed on tight sore spots and held for up to 10 seconds on those spots. I moved the ball around to get all areas of the arch and heel and a place or two under the ball of the foot for a total of a minute and a half. I retested by bending over again and found my left hand reached further than my right and the tension in the backs of my legs, my hips and my back were less tight. I repeated the sequence for my right foot and found a lot less tension in the back of my body afterwards than when I started. We also tried using a tennis ball in this class, which could be more intense in a few places, but the foot sack doesn’t roll away suddenly, and confirms to the shape of your feet, so it works much better than a tennis ball in the heel and ball of the foot and is quite effective fir the arch. I have been using the ball daily and the tight sore areas in the arches, notably the left foot which had a previously shifted cuboid bone for years, up to 3 years ago when I had structural reflexology, have lessened. I just bought a dozen of the balls first clients to purchase and have detailed for them on how to work this particular anatomy train of fascia in my most recent email newsletter.

I think it's great that this simple equipment comes with video intruction which is easily modified to meet my current ability and needs. Great product that lives up to its advertising!

I've been a barefoot shoe wearer for years, but recently developed plantar fasciitis and decided I need to proactively work on foot health and strength. The sole mate has been a great tool! It's small and easy to travel with if I want to use it outdoors or while working at my standing desk. The exercise program is well thought out and easy to follow and adjustable for wherever you're starting out (though I would be cautious to check with a doctor or PT if you have serious foot issues).

So, I have SLE Lupus. I have now had 4 large-toe surgeries. Fusion now in both🙌 I’m able to walk farther than a block… now doing 8-10 mile hikes and I’m adding in this foot device to help with foot stretching and flexing. Ooof, some of the stretches are ‘in my future’, I will get there🙌!!! This comes with literal instructions as to where to place your foot and your heel. There is a baby roller to roll out your toes and instep. No joke… if you DO it… it fucking hurts, but it’s tapping into your foot and muscles and little tendons. They also have a little strap-thing that helps to stretch your toes.. get it… our toes shouldn’t be smooshed together, they should be separated and breathable . My 5 cents, for what it’s worth!
